Downing John is the agency’s designated broker, a member of local, state, and national REALTOR associations, and a past president of the York County Board of Realtors. John found his calling in real estate at an early age and has established himself as a leader in the community. More than fifty years of experience in residential and commercial real estate and his expertise in the financing of all types of properties make him an extraordinarily effective advocate for his clients. John has an affinity for working with first-time home buyers, sharing in the excitement when they purchase their first home. His enthusiasm has led him to teach classes on first-time home buying through York County Community Action. John is a past President of the Kennebunk Rotary Club, a Mason and a Shriner, a former trustee for the University of New England, and has served as a trustee on the boards of two area hospitals.  Susan
DowningSusan is a full-time broker and a member of local, state, and national REALTOR associations. Born and raised in Kennebunk, she has a comprehensive knowledge of the seacoast area and a particular interest in residential real estate. Susan, along with her brother Sam, is the second generation to join the family-owned agency. Susan uses her listening and communication skills as a former educator to successfully match clients with the property that best suits them. Away from work musical interests are Susan’s passion. She performs with two choral groups, “Voices from the Heart” and “Con Tutti”, both centered in Portsmouth NH. Susan is also an accomplished drummer. |
 Sam Downing Sam is a full-time associate broker and a member of local, state, and national REALTOR associations. He was born and raised in Kennebunk, and his passion for the outdoors gives him a unique knowledge of the area's natural resources. Land and new construction are two of his interests, and strong negotiating skills make him an excellent advocate for his clients. In his spare time, Sam can be found kayaking, hiking, hunting, and fishing throughout the local area.

 Anne Allen Anne is our full time administrative assistant. Her organizational skills, ability to multi-task and her perpetually pleasant demeanor immediately put our clients, business contacts, and her co-workers at ease. Anne is a life long resident of the Kennebunks. Away from the office she enjoys equestrian endeavors, perennial gardening, and daily walks with her dog Fritz. |
